Red Bell Peppers
We only carry these peppers in the summertime when they are available. During the winter months most of the colored peppers are imported from countries such as Holland, and this contributes to the high prices. As a result, we offer these peppers during the summer because they are grown in California and locally as the season progresses. Red bell peppers are sweeter than green bell peppers, and they contain more vitamin C.
